Welcome to Hudson Valley Cheese Company! We are excited to bring our exquisitely aged cheeses to the general public. We have a broad selection of aged cheddars, ranging from 12 months to 12 years. All of our cheeses are aged to perfection; and the entire aging process is overseen from start to finish by our master cheesemaker and affineur.


Our team is dedicated to both the satisfaction of our customers, and to bringing high-quality cheeses to various regions throughout New York, New England, and beyond. Whatever your preference is; our complex and rich cheeses certainly will not disappoint!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What cheeses do you carry?

    At the moment, we carry a wide variety of finely aged cheddar.  However, we are in the process of developing some new and exciting cheeses,  which should be ready in early 2023.

  • What is the difference between a one year cheddar and a twelve year cheddar?

    Younger cheeses tend to be softer and more moist, and typically have a less complex flavor palate. More mature cheeses take on a crumbly or crystalline texture and generally have a more unique and bolder flavor profile.  Either way, you can’t go wrong.
